A room full of leaders, all committed to building a stronger Oklahoma.
At last week’s Annual Membership Meeting in Tulsa, the Oklahoma Business Roundtable brought together members and state partners to discuss the drivers shaping our economy and workforce.
We opened the meeting with a special message from Governor Kevin Stitt, who called the support of the Oklahoma Business Roundtable a “game changer for Oklahoma” — a strong endorsement of the role our members play in advancing the state’s economic future.
In addition to the remarks from Governor Stitt, we heard from Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell and John Budd, the newly appointed CEO of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, who shared that Oklahoma just recorded the most successful month of economic development in state history — a milestone we’re proud to have supported!
Pat McFerron walked us through the findings of this year’s Business Leaders Poll, offering a clear snapshot of business sentiment across the state.
Kyla Guyette, CEO of the Oklahoma Workforce Commission, shared what’s next for workforce in Oklahoma, followed by a thoughtful fireside chat with Kyla and Sean Kouplen.
We also officially approved our FY2026 Board of Directors, a talented group of leaders who share a strong commitment to building a stronger, more competitive Oklahoma. Sean Kouplen, CEO of Regent Bank, will serve as Chairman.
We wrapped up with good conversations and a shared commitment to keep Oklahoma moving forward.
Thank you to the great lineup of speakers and most importantly to our members who support the mission of the Roundtable!
