Aerospace and defense is the second largest and fastest-growing industry sector in Oklahoma. The state is home to some of the largest military and commercial MRO, engineering and training facilities in the world and is at the forefront of new and innovative research and development projects in such areas as Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), Space and Advanced Radar. The Roundtable continues to play a key support role with state and business partners in advancing this industry.
Please join us for a fast-paced and informative panel presentation by industry executives highlighting our state’s many aviation, defense and aerospace assets and a Q&A discussion focusing on needs and opportunities for future growth. The panel will be led by Hopper Smith, Brigadier General (Ret.) and Executive Director of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce and include representatives from Boeing, American Airlines, The Artemis Group and OU Office of Research & Partnerships.
