The Oklahoma Business Roundtable’s fall membership meeting was an engaging and impactful discussion focused on Oklahoma’s economic growth and investment opportunities.
A highlight was a special presentation by Kate Franko Global Public Affairs Lead at Google, who shared exciting news about the company's ongoing commitment to Oklahoma. The company has already invested $5.7 billion into their campus in the MidAmerica Industrial Park, which is the second largest in their global portfolio, and announced plans to invest an additional $9 billion in Oklahoma, expanding their existing facility in Pryor and then adding new data center campuses near Stillwater and Muskogee.
The meeting also featured remarks from Governor Kevin Stitt on recent initiatives driving state progress, strategic updates from John Budd, CEO of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, who shared details on Commerce's record-breaking year (including over $14B of new capital investment into the state!), and valuable insights from Chad Warmington, President and CEO of the State Chamber of Oklahoma, emphasizing Oklahoma’s competitiveness on the national stage and the importance of improving education outcomes for long-term prosperity.
Thank you to all the speakers and participants for their support and dedication to Oklahoma’s bright future.
