The Oklahoma Business Roundtable is proud to once again partner with the State Chamber and the State Chamber Research Foundation to conduct the annual Oklahoma Business Leaders Poll. This collaborative effort continues to offer critical insights from the business community and provides a clear guide for the actions needed to support continued growth across the state.

The 2025 poll surveyed more than 300 business owners and executives from companies across Oklahoma. The results show growing optimism, with 70% of respondents believing the state’s economy is headed in the right direction—a notable increase from last year.

Business leaders also signaled a strong commitment to future investment in Oklahoma, with 88% saying they plan to invest in the state in the year ahead.

While confidence is high, the poll also highlights persistent challenges. Workforce availability remains the top concern, although that number has declined slightly over the past two years. Health care and infrastructure emerged as increasingly important issues, with 84% of respondents saying improved health outcomes would strengthen the workforce and reduce employer costs.

Bottom line: business leaders are hopeful about Oklahoma’s direction—but continued progress depends on strategic investment in our people, our infrastructure, and our quality of life.
